High-Risk Pregnancy

Overview

A pregnancy is classified as high-risk when factors such as maternal age, pre-existing conditions or pregnancy-specific complications call for closer-than-usual monitoring.

Care is built around a personalised surveillance schedule — more frequent scans, targeted blood work and, where needed, fetal Doppler studies — so changes are caught early rather than at a routine visit.

Conditions managed include pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), placenta previa and twin or multiple gestations, always in coordination with the wider Cloudnine Hospital care team.
